Follow a line (of thought) and see where it ends…

In many of the wisdom teachings of the world, the point of ‘absolute beginning’ unfolded first into a vertical line,
thus becoming the axis of the world, the axis mundi, and then spreading horizontally into the Cosmic or World Tree.

Calligraphy...whereby shape-drawing can lead to shape-shifting...

and they will shape themselves
according to your nature.

‘Matter Unravelling’
Quantum Physics contemplates the lines within the points
that are elementary particles and their resonant vibrations as the
music of the very small that ‘plays’ the shape of our universe into
existence. These lines suffuse the metaphorical landscape of string theory.

‘A Study in strings’
We are not alone in our use of line to draw through space. Here, the hidden
architecture of the ephemeral line.
The lines of a single spider web are made up of up to 60 mts of silk thread,
including 6 different kinds,
and 3,000 points of attachment.
Can you see sacred geometry in the grandeur of the spires of the spider

wants nothing from its
companions but attention

Instead it finds ‘mil -’ and traverses…

The Western Platonic opposition between philosophy and rhetoric might be seen to be recast in Aristotelian aesthetics as an opposition between line and colour
– disegno versus colore.

In Middle English ‘to colour’ is to embellish or Adorn, to disguise, to render specious or plausible, to misrepresent. In Latin ‘colorem’ is related to
‘celare’, to hide or conceal.
Is colour just a cosmetic?

I am lost, or so you think, but not enough of either
has elapsed, you see!

"Past, present, future"
A face stares back at me from
it’s waiting heart.

“And God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. And God saw that the light was good; and God separated the light from the darkness.”
Genesis
Through a piece of coloured glass all but one of the colours of the spectrum are absorbed, the colour of the light seen is that which has not been absorbed. Have the rest become part of the substance then?
So is light a wave or a particle? Should it be drawn as a line or a point ?
Or should it be coloured in in all the colours it contains?
One day I will recognise my own features

Give time to space,
and space to time,
and they will shape themselves according to your nature.
The old text of the dew lined thought
wants nothing from its companions but attention.
Instead it finds ‘mil -’ and traverses…
the gossamer grid,
I am lost, or so you think,
but not enough of either has elapsed, you see!
A face stares back at me from it’s waiting heart.
One day I will recognise my own features.
