Inspired by a painting in the Gallerie dell'Accademia, Venice (shown in the accompanying images), this embroidered sketch is formed from tissue paper, pencil and stitching. There is a little bit of text on the drawing noting the meaning of the colour red in the colour symbolism of artists from the Middle ages . This piece has been carefully framed in a gilded wood frame size: 34.5cms x 44cms.
